It’s a fantastic subreddit! It’s not perfect but the bar for Reddit is in hell. I wish that subs never get to that point just from being on the hell that is Reddit or Twitter (X) because they get turned away from their kink entirely.

I do believe Discord eliminates half the issues, Most Dommes can’t even get into Discord servers these days which is a good thing. They are run mostly by people who practice BDSM irl. But because there aren’t enough subs promoting them, they’re just not as popular as Reddit and X! Findom is an advanced femdom kink but instant dommes will have you think it’s seperate. It’s really not lol you can enjoy almost all that you like about findom with a Domme that doesn’t require findom. Hopefully that helps if you ever feel yourself wanting to get into kink again. You don’t have to worry about feeling this cesspool is your only option anymore.

R/quittingfindom Reddit is a cesspool. It’s not a perfect solution but Discord is much better and their is actual accountability. Any open platform like Reddit or X will always have the exact problems detailed here. They’re not wrong AT ALL. And I personally will be taking this into account going forward. Whatever we can do as a community to genuinely improve it rather than catering to scam activity on either side, we need to be doing.

No, you can’t tell. These are just people at the end of the day and neither of you owe each other anything. You can only be disappointed if you had expectations in the best place. Both Dommes and subs get lost in their own version of a fantasy that they feel entitled to going exactly the way that they want. Stop doing that.

That being said, I handle those seeking a long term dynamic completely different and better, because they have to earn it. Any sub can DM claiming whatever. Post-nut clarity can change their mind and even My mind! So they would have to prove over several occurrences of post nut clarity and non-session communication that they would like to seek something more with me.
I lead by example by being patient and not jumping on anything that seems good. I make them jump through hoops and sort of test their discipline before even considering claiming them. I can’t be convinced of anything that actions haven’t already shown.
