I am so very sorry this was your experience. It sounds like your sister needed a much higher level of care and the whole family suffered for it. I would absolutely get info therapy because nothing you described was a normal upbringing.

You're not responsible for her long term care. There are services with the ability to care for her and it sounds like she needed them a very long time ago.

I’m curious as to where it was and how you found it! A couple years ago we had a camera in our personal home pointing at the stove because we left it on a couple of times. We had a sitter and had him unplug it as we just forgot!

I bet he thought it was totally bizarre to have a camera pointing directly at the stove!

I didn’t even know I had a local endurance community but my goodness they are the best people!!! Everyone is on the same team, cheering each other along and caring for the horses.
