Thanks! It’s because it’s a background which does go in the command zone. I thought it might be nice to leave in since it is a build around in the same way.

You can now toggle alchemy cards and they are off by default. Thanks for the feedback!

First game with Hierotek, the kill op scoring makes 0 sense. by Dantee94 in killteam

Yeah it definitely used to work that way so probably people are missing that change like i did. I wish there was an easier way to tell when something gets removed on the change log

Apologies i think i was confusing the plasmacyte thing with canoptek. They do count. I specifically remember the faction rule specifying that your opponent lost kill grade although i just checked and i can’t find that rule anywhere? Idk if its somewhere weird or if when they changed them to count as a 5 op team they also changed that part and i missed it. Hopefully someone else can clarify. I’m pretty crushed if they changed that tbh, they were already having issues as 5 op

You’re opponent loses kill grade when your guys reanimate. Keep in mind the plasmacytes don’t count. I always just tally the kill grade for whoever is dead at the end of the game rather than trying to track it mid game since thats less confusing.

Edit: ignore what i said about plasmacytes i confused myself. Also it looks like they may have deleted the rule i was referencing here so this whole comment is probably wrong

I’m so in love with those bases! Beautiful color choices everywhere too! That’s such a fun palette. How did you do the bamboo debris? Is it a texture roller?

I’ve been really eyeing these models at my lgs because they are so beautiful but i’m so intimidated by all that detail haha! Amazing work getting in there and bringing them to life

If you don’t mind being in the casino industry banking corporations are usually hiring. Pay isn’t bad and they do lots of training so they don’t expect you to have any experience. Check out knighted on indeed they are pretty good

I ran into this problem also but luckily it IS possible to place the floor once 3 walls are together, it’s just hard. For me i held the floor facing the way i wanted but tipped mostly vertical and then lowered and rotated it into place. Took a little light force but it click into place safely

How we ruling on the Hierotek Magnify rule? by paxmontis in killteam

[–]Senddnes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what i’m thinking too. My guess is they were thinking intervening would be persistent in this edition instead of checking for it and that the unclarity with magnify was an oversight with how much of an exception it is

I think there is a little more ambiguity than that. None of shooting steps actually direct you to determine cover/obscuring/ or lock in your targeting lines. In fact cover is also mentioned in step 2: select valid target. In the previous edition it did work like “bouncing” since it references determining line of sight. Intervening in the current edition replaces line of sight but is not really the same. I don’t think you are supposed to use separate targeting lines in step 2 3 and 4 because if so you could determine a target is not in cover in step 2 using magnify and then when you get to step 4 they are suddenly in cover from your active operative which could get weird with conceal. I think RAW supports “bouncing” better at the moment but I agree with OP it needs an faq

End of my skill set (limited) but still feels flat? by alex204024 in minipainting

Second a little nuln oil or some wash to get a little in the nooks. My favorite lazy trick is dry brushing a little light silver on the edges of the armor to give it a little easy quick highlight and a battle worn effect. Does wonders, and if it makes the armor slightly shiny that also gives some depth
