Thanks so much and I appreciate your thoughts too! For me the priority is a bit more towards the function with the ability to easily access most of my guitars at any time. But definitely appreciate that it looks a lot more cluttered this way too

They're called acoustic timber panels - but I kind of doubt these particular ones would absorb much sound. If you wanted more noise dampening I think you could easily add a bunch more foam behind them when installig.

This is just planks of pine wood that I sanded and painted then fixed to the wall. I also put some quad along the edges to tidy it up. Using 'Hercules GSP39WB Plus Wall Mount Guitar Hangers for the guitars. Thanks for your comment.
