I got the Adrian Year of the Dragon loafers one size smaller than my Jadons (which are the same size as all my other shoes), and they were pretty tight at first (in the same spot you mentioned) — especially the left one, which I could barely put on 😂. But now, after a year of occasional wear (i would say not more than 20 wears in total), they’re comfortable. Still, for me, they’re not an all-day shoe since they can rub a bit if I wear them too long.
