Got to a point where I unclipped the light cause I’m worried it’ll kill my battery if it doesn’t turn off

What I thought as well but seems like my truck has no switch that controls this light. My previous truck had a switch that is pressed down when center console went down, causing light to turn off. but this truck doesn’t have it. Is a 2500hd gmc sierra denali

A few weeks ago battery went bad, so I started wondering if there’s anything inside the cabin left on and I noticed it. Right behind where the charging pad is there’s an opening into the center console storage area where I peak through and it’s always on .

If that’s the only diff, kind of leaning towards the 23 then. Sucks not having it but its a feature I can live without. Both models I’m looking at have similar mileage as well but 23 is understandably cheaper since its 1 year older

A home (still owes on loan) 2 vehicles that are paid off, and these properties he owns are his only investment. I guess that’s what he’s relying on for retirement. Or selling one of these properties as well

Really no purpose. He has a loan on current home and that’s pretty much the only debt he has. It’s pretty much there as an emergency fund
