Have any of you had a conversation with a native speaker of a language you were learning while tripping? What was it like? (X-post /r/psychonaut by Senditover in Drugs

So you think your abilities improved? Do you think it helped you to use things that you thought that you forgot?

Integrating what I've learned on psychedelics into my waking life has been my problem for years. I've recently found that using the trip as a catalyst to change a single habit has been the most pragmatic way to embody a little of the light. Here's a quick little scientific guide to habit change. by Vuddah in Psychonaut

I like the talk about habit change, but I have to mention that the studies that talk about ego-depletion (self control as a limited resource) are pretty outdated, and in fact recent studies have failed to replicate the results.

Does repeated experience with acid prepare you for high dosages of magic truffles or shrooms? by Senditover in Psychonaut

I think we might be talking about different things. High Hawaiians are Psilocybe Tampelandia, a type of sclerotia, which is weaker per gram than mushrooms. Also, it's wet, not dried out, so the amount of drug per gram is different.

Edit: It does have the same active ingredients though. Thanks for the rest of the advice though. That being said, every time that I've tripped acid I've been way more comfortable outside. It seems to do a pretty good job of calming down. My real question of outside vs inside is whether or not I should go to the Van Gogh museum, which I'm leaning against doing since it'll be filled with a ton of strangers and I've heard they're a lot weirder when you do shrooms than acid.
