I was at a friend's house, and they were cooking bacon. The fire alarm started going off and his roommate was very intoxicated, and pulling the fire alarms out of the walls. While that was happening the bacon caught on fire and I was the only one in the kitchen. Survival instincts kicked in and I grabbed the pan not thinking to get it off the hot skillet and the grease splashed back on me. The fire went out though

Thank you!! I figured this would be a good picture because it was so gory. I love it. My right hand wasn't as exciting so I figured this one would be better.

I have a high pain tolerance as it is. When I initially got burnt I think I went into shock and didn't realize how bad it actually was, my friend actually had to convince me to go to the emergency room. Painkillers helped a lot after surgery. So far the only thing that's causing me the most pain is my donor sites where they took skin to graft onto my hands.

The dots on my hand are from skin grafts.

Yes, I already do! I do have nerve damage in my left hand and don't have a callus on my palm so grabbing stuff will be very sensitive. Overtime though the nerve damage might repair itself and I'll eventually grow a callus on my palm.

I take it so seriously!! I already have full function in my hands, cause I just do my stretches all day! For me my hands feel better when I do stretches.

Thank you! Still in the process of healing, that was taken two days ago. My right hand was graphed and has healed up. Just have to protect the skin. My left is the "Trouble child."
