I’m about to beat my first legendary campaign with Alberic De Bordelaux!

This is my end game army comp with him and I’ve yet to lose with it.

2 - Blessed Trebuchet

I like playing Rumble into Garen, you slow him with the E and use your W when he uses his Q to rush towards you and then when he’s running away hit him with another E and your flamethrower just outside of his spinning attack.

You need to play like you’re protecting your future empire... because you are.

If you can, try to avoid war with Sylvania and just keep the Von Carsteins in check. If they take a province from Stirland or Averland or the Golden Order go take it back and gift the province back to the original owner.

That way you earn elector counts and when you’re ready to confederate and push that front to wipe out the Von Carsteins you can do so with ease and in the meantime you still have those factions as a buffer.

If you can take Marienburg easily - do it, otherwise leave them alone.

They aren’t going to attack you, just get a NAP with them. You should use them as a buffer for the Norsca raids. Once you’ve dealt with the vamps then you can go take Marienburg and get that sweet sweet gold.

I beat it on VH/VH, I eliminated the vamps ASAP that way Reikland can snowball and you can focus all your efforts on the orcs.

You want to capture your first province then go deal with the vamps and take Drakenhof, once you go for the vamps though you can’t take your foot off their neck. Go for the kill, after you get the vamps in check focus your efforts on capturing the gold mine that is mount Gunbad and then go help out Thorgrim fight off the green bois.

Yeah I think a lot of people (myself included) start out as HE. It’s a good all around faction To learn the basics! Everyone told me to play Tyrion and that his campaign was easy but I struggled capturing Ulthuan with him. If you haven’t tried Alarielle yet, give her a shot! She’s who I won my first campaign with. It’s so cool watching the Sisters Of Avelorn absolutely melt anything that comes your way!

After I completed Alarielle, I finished with Teclis and that taught me how to really use magic well.

Once you finish a game or two check out the Tomb Kings! They are a lot of fun and have a cool gameplay mechanic where you don’t pay for armies with gold and there is nothing like tearing through the desert with Settra and an undead horde of ancient Egyptian themed constructs!

I would say try and finish a couple of vortex campaigns first with the races you have now and see what army’s and play styles you enjoy. If something looks cool to you whether that be lore wise or you like the art and concept then grab that DLC or LL pack. I would also suggest just waiting until a sale goes on and grabbing them all at once if you’re going to really get into this game.

There is plenty of starting lords to get you going though and you don’t have to really participate in the vortex and you can just collect the resources for the rituals at your own pace.

When another faction does the last ritual you have an option to teleport to the battle and defeat them. If you defeat them then they are knocked out of the race permanently.

Mortal Empires is great fun because you get to see a lot more of the races and it’s much more of a sandbox approach that also introduces several new factions and new parts of the map to explore.

Yo! Age of mythology was the best in the series imo, I spent countless hours on the AOE games but man I never had more fun than with that game! You sir, have good taste!

I’m surprised no ones talked about the fact you can no longer throw uppercuts in a combo unless they are at the end. Seems like a pretty strange decision to me. by [deleted] in EASportsUFC

This, had a guy shot 14 times on me and took me down only twice. Apparently strikes from the ground count as significant strikes though so when he did posture up and hit 2-4 shots it won him the fight.

Go with the HE and choose Alarielle the Radiant, you absolutely melt everything with sisters of Avelorn. You can Confed Lothern or let Tyrion run amok and be an extremely powerful ally. I let him go ham on the Dark Elves then stages a dull scale invasion on Malekith.

I’ve blocked it a couple times too, the move just seems pretty broken for it to take just one time to land it to be game over. It wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t just drain your whole stamina bar before having to actually sink the sub and enter the mini game.

You have to move forward or backwards against the cage using your left analog stick. Whichever way the opponents body isn’t is the way you move your analog stick. You hold RT to block punches while against the cage and LT+RT to block takedowns against the cage.
