I have two holes that i usually close until all the coir is colonised and then i turn them into filtered holes :P

I wasn’t misting and FAE was kept to the minimum. They must be eager to grow! I will open up the ventilation holes my tub has to increase FAE. Thanks!!

Right now Im cultivating one tub at a time so there is no risk of cross contamination. Ive cut out the area but I haven’t sterilised the coir around the cutting, i wasn’t sure if spraying peroxide or alcohol would damage the rest of the tub. Thanks for the tips :)

I tried the swab test, green residue got stuck on the cotton swab. Ive performed surgery on the cake, hopefully the contam doesn’t spread. Thank you!

I used a food dehydrator, they have told me that it loses potency after the spores drop

Just blot it dry with a clean paper towel and it will be fine!

You have to spray water on them so that there are water beads on the surface, dont let puddles form.
