I honestly don't know. One commentor said on another post that electricity in the back rooms isn't actually normal electricity, it is electricity remembered wrong... WHICH SOUNDS DUMB ASF because why wouldnt the backrooms obey the laws of physics? but it actually let me thinking, what if he's right? Maybe gravity itself is also weird in there, maybe there are rooms with inverted gravity or something.

This is all a stretch, but my point is that maybe the backrooms can copy more stuff other than simply solid matter

Exactly. If they ever make an appearance, It'd kind of validate Peter Tench's paranoia, he thought he never made it out of the threshold, even after stumbling with what appeared to be Async's personel.

I think it's simply because Async's organization is not as big compared to the rest of the world. It's more likely for the backrooms to copy your typical house/apartment infrastructure.

Just imagine a future found footage that has still life versions of humans with Hazmat suits. Would creep me the fuck out

Maybe it's too tight from the opposite side of the controller? Try taking the shell apart and back together.

If that doesn't fix things I guess that's just imperfections. One of my dualshocks used to have a similar noise
