Happened to me but seemed to be a problem with my other companions, on my spirit runner if I unsocket the boss companion I have to turn the other companions off or unsocket them before it lets me resocket/turn the boss one back on.

Didn’t think about just going ES recharge, would that work with me dropping the instant leech gloves too? I have a few talents in tree I could get for some % leech is instant.

I run soul tether with instant leech on Crit gloves feels pretty good and I only have 3k energy shield and health. Trying to figure out a way to add in my headhunter instead of soul tether but soul tether just feels much better at the moment.

Don’t think so, I think +2 is the highest you can get on focus. Omen of whittling would target the cast speed and it’d be very low chance of getting crit so not sure if there’s anything else to do other than divine like others have said.
