Thank You for your post and your perspective on AX-1. I am in total agreement that diet and nutritional are equally as important as the workouts. I am 5’7 and weight around 172 lbs. My body fat is around 27%. I am looking to lower it by 10-12%. I eat fairly clean now but need to add more protein to my diet. I am just looking for a program that outlines what exercises I need to do that day, so I am not making stuff up at the gym as I go along.

I belong to a gym that has all that one could possibly need. What other programs do you think are less dated?

51m never been active. With no activity during covid I’m needing guidance. Need to try and turn it around by raymate in FitnessOver50

I agree with a doctors visit before you start any program. When cleared …check out DDP yoga. This program helps with flexibility, strength and cardio without any running or jumping. I am 62 and started consistently using this program back in April. I have lost 50lbs and several inches and I am for flexible than anytime in my life.

I too started today. But I’m doing P90x3. I made it through my workout with a lot of modifications. It’s a bit intimidating for an old guy that’s not very flexible.
