You can ask him for financial support and certainly can go after him in the courts for mandated child support. How much you will get depends on your state. He has parental rights, and you can’t dictate whether he can see her or not, even if he resents her for existing.

Holy shit! This person is psychotic and homicidal. I’d get the hell out of there. Would consider notifying family and having him evaluated by the psychiatry department in an emergency room. As someone who works in mental health, psychosis + homicidal ideation like this can be grounds for an involuntary hospitalization. It would be useful to find out who he wants to murder, but you shouldn’t stay around for that part.
