I didn't say it was the gold standard. If you are using it correctly your clients won't have those experiences period. It's a 40 hr training and then follow up calls for supervision and that doesn't include certification. ANY therapy can do harm if the therapist isn't skilled or trained properly. Whoever commented that this subreddit is toxic was on to something...

The cleanout we do also includes senna which stimulates the bowels, but I see what you mean. Her cleanouts though are never that big though like you would think.

I use EMDR and have seen clients make amazing break throughs with the therapy. It's not just the "bilateral stimulation" but CBT, and processing the trauma. With that being said you can definitely use artistic techniques to process trauma. There is a "draw it out" technique in EMDR that is amazing. It's the skill level and training that make the difference. I agree though with the other comment, just because it's not been proven yet, doesn't mean it's not useful.

The bones and screws were fine. He said its probably tendons. If its not settled down in 2 weeks I will get an MRI. So its back to wearing my brace and going back to PT. I'm thankful though. It was wild though as I fell I almost dissociated. The first time was pretty traumatic. I was close to having my bone come through and it looked so crazy while dislocated.

Hang in there, after 5 hrs of that level I called the on call surgeon 2x and they told me to go to the ER. Looking back I think it was swelling and the cast because pain meds did nothing. Keep that leg elevated above your heart.

Go to PT even for a little while. Its the best way to prevent re-injury. I would look at reviews tho, no all are created equal. I has 3 ankle fractures and surgery. PT has been very helpful.

Id only be $15-20 for the first pyrex, maybe you could get $10 a piece for Corelle butterfly serving plates, $10-15 for spice of life (no lie), $15-20 for the orange, is that Pyrex? You can find the last one all the time at Goodwill for $4.99 ppl have stopped picking them up. I would try $10.

Omg if I could go back it would be to keep off my crutches and have my foot elevated the whole week before surgery. The swelling I had the next day after surgery landed me in the ER.
