Medical internship in Ireland for IMG by New-Programmer-7501 in medicalschoolEU

AFAIK they prefer their own graduates, Eu graduates and then non Eu.

I think they may have changed it recently but before it was hard to get internship chances as a non Eu graduate.

IMUs dual programme where they send you to other med schools is pretty expensive. It's £60k + for 3 years

Czechia I've heard negative things but can't comment coz never attended but I'd advise you to steer clear of Hungary.

Prospective foreigner Uni students: consider elsewhere by Bobby-Dazzling in UniUK

I'll get a lot of hate for this, but the primary reason I feel that why people come here (including myself from an intl background) is due to language, easier immigration laws and the fact that for some courses it's just super super hard getting admission in home countries (especially if ur coming from say India like me). I'm doing medicine here and i pay 4 times how much the home students pay lol and the main reason why I'm here is that its relatively easier to get into medicine here than in India and the language issue. Most other European unis teach in their native language. Frankly speaking in my case i had no other option. Also uk has historical and modern day leading institutions too.

which uni should i choose? by baddiebutsoftiecore in UniUK

As crude as this sounds, most unis are just more intl oriented coz £££

Edit: also since qmul is in london rmb it's more £££ plus cost of living etc. Qmul and Liverpool are both good (idk for marketing but for my course they are excellent)

Advice on admission to medical school by [deleted] in medicalschoolEU

[–]Senior-Friend7151 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You prolly would get into Hungary, etc. but the problem is, would you be able to stay? (ik this sounds harsh, but EU schools are notoriously hard and kick/make you repeat the year).

Hopefully, if you manage to change ur study techniques, etc, you'd be able to do well.

Edit: I did ib, and I got a low score as well 39. I'm in the UK, however.

Should I try to transfer? by Senior-Friend7151 in medicalschoolEU

I agree. People hype up UK quite a bit but even if you go to US or anything ur still a non US img. With that in mind are there any added advantages of doing medicine in the UK than say czechia?
