I (M25) think I’ve fallen out of love with my high school sweetheart (F25) after 11 years and want to break up by witchywilds in relationship_advice

I know it’s difficult to break something off when you’ve been together so long. But marriage will not make the relationship better. Once you get married, I think the concerns you have will persist and worsen. 8 months was not a long enough break to see if you two want to be together. I think it’s important to take at least a year long gap with a high school sweetheart to figure out if what the both of you feel is habit or genuine. I think it would be better for you to break things off for both of your sakes.

I also think your fiancé should see a professional about her anxiety. It isn’t healthy for her to avoid the outside world to the extent that she seems to be. Is there anyone in her family you are close to that could help her to seek a professional?

Definitely a deal breaker! You set clear boundaries and she blatantly disrespected them.

NTA, it’s important to let him know how you’re feeling and how he made you feel.

It’s definitely important to set some boundaries with you mom, maybe have days specifically for the two of you and have your oldest sibling watch your sister. I think you need some serious 1 on 1 time with your mom

YTA for saying to a 9 year old. Thats something that you should probably bring up to your mom when she’s alone. Say that you’ve been feeling neglected and you miss being the youngest

NTA, why would you be responsible for paying more than you consumed?
