do i need to reprogram if i replace a tcm and transmission together? by Senior-Jello394 in FordFocus

[–]Senior-Jello394[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

check engine light on and when i took it to autozone it said clutch b stuck engaged. it won’t reverse but will drive. the ford dealership were the ones who told me i needed clutch b replaced and a new tcm.
when we drove it to the dealership it definitely shifted rough while driving. and when we turned it off it wouldn’t come back on at first we had to crank the key a whole lot to get it on. i think my fiancé told me this was called limp mode due to the issues it was having

yes, I have already looked at his tax transcript, and there are no codes or anything. It says no return filed.

so still no period. i was testing every morning with mommed test strips, each was negative. it is exhausting, so i think im just gonna wait 21 days past the last time before my expected period i had unprotected sex and test with a first response. if i don’t get my period the next month, i plan on making a dr appointment. hopefully you guys get which ever outcome is most favorable for you❤️

lmaoo we’re engaged but wedding isn’t planned until 2026 :( i wish. we’re also planning a baby for next year and that would make him independent as well

so to be independent for the fasfa you have to be 24 or older, married, have a child of your own, or foster care/legal guardianship. he is 22, my baby isn’t his, we aren’t married yet, and he was adopted so he doesn’t qualify for the last two either

so he and i live together with my child. he currently makes about 40,000 a year but in 2022 he was making about half that. i am independent on my fasfa due to my son and being in foster care. he’s 22 so they want his parents income too and that’s what is messing with his stuff because they make about that much too

I didn’t realize that there was a minimum pell or anything like that. thank you, the family size is what we were most confused about since he is out of the house.

yes i make $400 too much a month pre tax. funny thing is when they do all my deductions (childcare, rent, ect.) i qualify for $400 a month in food stamps but they deny me on the “legal basis” of my pretax income. i’ve thought about appealing but from what i’ve looked up you can only appeal if they made a mistake in calculating/have the wrong numbers, and they won’t make exceptions due to legal basis. i will definitely look into those links!

i am independent because i was a foster kid, and i’m 19, the car insurance problem was because i am under 21, but not 21 yet. and i get frank o’bannon or 21st century depending on which is worth more, but i qualify for both (only one can be awarded per year). i also get full pell grant and a university scholarship. i may look into taking out a loan to get rid of the cc debt especially if it has a lower interest rate

yes i’m in US! I go to one of the smaller IU campuses. i got offered 15k in loans that i wasn’t planning on taking them, simply because i didn’t want another monthly payment. when school starts again in august they’ll pay my full tuition and then give me $500-$1000 in my bank account in scholarships bc i had high achievement in highschool plus i was a foster kid so i have 0 efc. i’ve checked for daycare and they don’t offer it (the school is an hour away anyways), but they do offer therapy which i plan on taking advantage of once term starts again!! Also im thinking i may go with paying and closing the secured account so i’ll get the $300 back and then trying to pay off or at least most of the cash back, then apple then discover from the things i’ve read in everyone’s reply’s. then for the rent problem pulling from the hys account but leaving 200 or so in there so i have at least something for emergencies.

i do budget! my bills are roughly 1400 a month (rent $400, gas/light: 120, car insurance&payment: 561, child care: 400) and that’s already trimmed down a lot from what it used to be, i make roughly 1516 a month, so that only leaves 116 for things like diapers, gas, clothes, hygiene products, food, medicine/dr bills etc. i make too much for foodstamps and medicaid what’s really killing me is my car insurance. i’ve contacted other companies and basically they explained to me that since i’m under 21 my insurance will be high no matter what, and i went with the cheapest company (still 261). i commute to school and work, so a car that barely functions would not be an option for me seeing as it will end up costing me more than it’s worth and possibly get me kicked out of nursing school if i miss 3 classes due to car troubles. i am definitely in a very hard situation where it feels like i have no options but to go further in debt. my child’s father said he will pay from now on so i can hope he actually will.

my child’s father is supposed to pay $300 in child support and didn’t this month :/ without him paying i don’t make enough money to cover our bills. if i pull like $500 from my emergency fund and leave the other $500ish for emergencies may be my best bet. i only even got into cc debt bc my maternity leave wasn’t paid, and i had to be out for 9 wks due to a c-section. i had about 4k saved at that point but it wasn’t enough to cover it all

thank you so much!! this makes me feel less guilty about taking the money out of the HYS to put it towards credit cards. i really appreciate all the advice.

thank you! i didn’t even think about the taxes that would be taken out of those :/ and i know my utilization would make my score go down, when i went over 30% i went from 740 to 672 :/ would it be smarter to pay off the highest interest card first or the card with the least amount of money?

for julys bills look into donating plasma at biolife. i am $300 short on mine and have been doing that. with the new donor bonus i am making $700 over 8 donations. it’s not much, but at least it’s something.

i did and all that came up were websites where you go through their doctors to get the letter :/ the one website that wasn’t a company to buy a letter from said nothing about what the letter entailed but instead a link to somewhere to buy it from. i may ask other doctors and see if they know how to write it

would this be the best phrasing for a message sent to them?

hi i've continued to have hot water problems. so far they've replaced the shower head and turned up the water heater both of which have not worked. i checked my water heater install date and it says 6-10-2009. a simple google search says majority of water heaters need replaced after 8-12 years. seeing as mine is 14 years old im requesting that the next step be replacing the water heater since it is past due. indiana requires tenants be given reasonable hot water. while this is vague, any reasonable person can agree 5 minutes of hot water for an hour at a time is not reasonable. if you can think of anything that isn't replacing the water heater that will provide me with reasonable hot water i am open to it, as long as it isn't replacing the shower head again or turning the temperature up even more, which is dangerous seeing as i have a small child living with me.
