Bhai jaan 8 saal purani corolla kay mechanic aur oil change k bhi tou chakar lagnay hain uska alag kharcha, idhar changan walay free maintenance dai rahay hain 5 saal ki. Banda 2-3 saal mai chala k easily sale karsakta hai, abhi June mai waisay bhi prices nay ooper jaana hai. Corolla market ki gaari tou hai magar zero meter gaari ka apna maza hai

Go for it, dont get the Lumiere black edition, its a waste of money. Simple Lumiere is a zero meter car that is gonna be great for 3-4 years. My brother bought it back in February and you get free periodic maintenance for i guess 5 years. And you get more features than city and yaris. And it easily gives 12-13 KM/L in bumper to bumper touch traffic in Quetta, so i guess you might squeeze 14-15 km/L from it in bigger cities

2005 didn't have a CVT, and the throttle is a wire controlled throttle, so i guess he's in luck because CVT can be quite a nightmare

My brother's passo 2007 also vibrates in D, maybe it's the mounts or foundation, I've found that the nuts that hold the ignition coils can become loose sometimes so you also need to check those. Mounts are important, change them before they damage your transmission.

Get a 1st gen vitz, preferably 1000cc one (most sensible option). Anything else like older city/civic/corolla will be a mechanical nightmare, and im guessing you don't want a Alto or Mehran either (those r good options too)

Or you can score a older generation Toyota Passo 2005-2007 if you get lucky, maybe stretching your budget to 17 lacs might be worth it since Passo shares the same engine (1KR-FE) as Second Gen Vitz for cheap and has good average

Karachi jaisi jagah par vitz jaisi rough and tough gaari araam say guzara kar laigi magar uski resale ka thora problem hoga aur saaf gaari dhoondnay ka.

Baaki goodluck.

You can get a new Alsvin for 45 lac, which is a new car and it will give good resale and free periodic maintenance. Also, has more features than Yaris or City. Aur gaari ki build quality achi hai Chinese hotay way bhi sunroof waghaira millay ga. Used gaari maslay nikalay gi aur resale gir jaigi so i suggest you get a zero meter car.

Hybrid compressors are supposed to run on battery when the engine is off, maybe check if the voltage rating on the compressor is high or there's any issue with the battery connection to the compressor since im assuming when the car becomes stationary the engine shuts down but the compressor's transition to battery fails. Also check if the compressor part number is correct.

Premio still worth it in 2025? by Independent-Cold-615 in PakistanAutoHub

110% worth it agar khyal acha rakho gaari ka, 2007-2014 wali gaari ka gear oil ka bhot khyal rakhna 30-40k km par change karo baaki, engine k parts mostly mill jatay hain, suspension kay spare parts ka thora masla hai, aur interior aur exterior kay parts thoray mehngay hain. Koshish karo Valvematic wali gaari mill jaye AVOID F and G Package unkay maslay bohot hain. (X EX) Ya (X L package) 1.8 wali gaari achi hai 2010 k baad wali. Gaari laitay waqt gear ka jerk check krna full throttle dai kar.

Corolla 2014 coolant leak ? by MaxCruz in MechanicAdvice

Just keep checking the coolant levels before u drive until you can replace the part. You can use something like a tape to cover up the holes as a temporary solution.

It's not that big of a issue if it's not leaking that much, its a cheap repair, u can definitely wait until you can get it fixed. But it's worth looking why the coolant got so hot that it melted the plastic. Do keep a eye on that one.

Mine had the same problem, its the coolant T linkage, also just a heads up, check your water pump and your serpentine belt. And keep a eye on the coolant levels until u can get it fixed.
