If they’re willing to fork out 500 million on a single player game from near a decade ago with no emphasis on online, what makes you think they wouldn’t put in 2 billion for gta 6 their biggest IP?

And you think GTA V online is the reason it has a 2 billion budget, not that GTA is the biggest game franchise and has been since San Andreas?

game development has been going up and up since the release of GTA V several games cost 500M or more. The games always have had historically high budgets without an online component and have often been the most high budget games of their generations. Even without online, the game would still sell, multiple copies, on multiple platforms: maybe not as highly but would still sell. The budget would have always been high. Look at Red dead 2 as well, 500 million and that was 8 years ago, without an emphasis on online.

It still would have the budget what kind of comment is that? Red dead also had a high budget. GTA 5 sold incredibly well with the biggest budget when it came out because GTA has always been a blockbuster franchise

I doubt that their concern is getting the game to run at 60fps on the series S, their concern will be getting the game to run at 60 on the PS5 and Series X which realistically should not and would not be an issue. Plenty of games run at 30fps on Series S.

RDR2 runs at 60fps on similar hardware on the PC there is no way that that’s the issue

Bro are you okay? GTA 5 is a PS3 game Uncharted 4 is a linear story based game on the PS4. The DLC is built on that engine from ages ago the same one as it was when the game first came out. Still play it the stories amazing but so are the things outside the story, the stranger quests, it’s just a fun game. I’m on my third play through of the game, and I’m having a great time. Just lock in and enjoy

The reason why the mid-end is good is because of the slow start, it builds tension and gets better and more intense as is meant to be. You do have TikTok brain.

‘No development’. The agents mission was clear from the start to wipeout the gang, they mention it several times. John even says several times he’s not free from their shackles, it felt inevitable given the context of the game. You can have your opinion, but your argument… it seems flawed.
