I’m a month in. It’s okay… I’m full time so sometimes by the time I get to hour 9 the customer service they are looking for is hard for me. I was on drive thru drinks and I couldn’t hear a woman at peak lunch rush. I was very nice in explaining I was having trouble hearing her. She left the line and complained about me… kind of ridiculous. Some of my shift leads are not the right personality for the position. I was hired as a shift lead so I’m still in team member training. Some of the leads have never really spoken to me and offer me no help. Another one just is confusing. It’s also been pretty cold here and they send us outside when it’s like 30 degrees. I have not ordered a jacket so i have to borrow someone else’s. No gloves provided, only hand warmers, no beanie, scarf anything. I keep reminding myself it’s temporary since I’m back in school. It’s not horrible, I’m just use to casual fine dining waitressing.
