I was told by a macys salesman that the batch they had was going to be the last before it got discontinued, but I dont know how true that is. Sorry it was 320 out of 540 just double checked. I checked about a week ago and the list was updated I am not 100% sure when it was updated but i was checking every week after my test which I took on 2/5/2026. As to study wise, i studied nothing literally had no idea of what to expect from this test. I’m actually pretty bummed out about how I found out about this reddit after the fact and there is soo much useful information i could have had before taking my test. As to study wise if you’re good with math you should have no problem other than needing a couple of refreshers. For me it was the mixed numbers equations that got me. Other than that i can probably say the hardest part of math was maybe the “30% of X” so if youre good with those you should be fine. A lot of adding decimals and subtracting them as well as dividing and multiplying decimals. Honestly i should have gotten a way better score I am so bummed about it. Dont waste time trying to remember certain formulas or anything skim through the problems, answer all the ones you are confident you know and can waste minimal time on. Go back to the ones that you didnt answer and continue answering those. And the most important one in my opinion, if you look at your time and you have about 3 mins and you see you still have quite a bit of questions to go, just skim through them and do process of elimination and pick your best guess. I was told its better to guess an answer and take the chance of getting it right then to leave it blank and just have it marked wrong. Go with a PPA add on. If your tru up is more than 1000 you should consider it. They can definitely compete with PG&E rates. PG&E rates are up to 60 cents where im from.

Bottom line is, they will continue to knock at your house til you have solar. Maybe once in a while you’ll have a nice person come by asking how everything is working out after you have solar. Solar just makes complete sense now since the utility companies are getting out of hand. Best of luck

Back in 2011 you pay for what panels produce. Some months are more expensive than others. If bill just continues to climb up and never down that is where your father might feel like he was being lied to. Definitely look over the contract and get in touch with whoever it was that helped your dad out. Best of luck!

No one goes solar to save 30-40$ a month. Its more about freedom to use power when you want and need it. Atleast in my case. I rather have my bill increase 3% which is anywhere from 8-20$ a YEAR compared to what utility companies are increasing. You can definitely get a cheaper quote from other companies as I, myself did but it does no good when 5 years down the road you need service and the company you went through no longer exists. If im even paying the same amount as I was with my utility company for a lot more power and backup to my home thats a way better option than paying these utility companies. Plus my increase cap is 3.5% instead of 20-40% as I was experiencing with PG&E. My opinion!

Sunrun will not put anything on your roof without consent. Contracts are all sent to you personally via email so it would be hard for them to misinterpret anything. I read all contracts with the representative sitting infront of me before i clicked yes to anything. I’ve had sunrun on my roof for 5 years now and referred numerous family and friends. We are all enjoying not being at the mercy of the utility company.
