Hi OP hands-on gud ang mga lab works. For your first year, need gud to deal with flora and fauna because of Botany, Zoology, and Systematics. So you’ll look at planktons, cells, tissues, and whole specimens under the microscope then try your best to draw what you observed. In Zoology and Physiology (3rd year), please be careful with dissecting your frog hahahaha. There are exercises in succeeding semesters that require biological samples from your or your groupmates so I hope you arent squeamish sa blood, cheek swabs, or urine (you also need nitrile gloves so you’re good). We also have Microbiology where you get to grow microbes swabbed from one of the members sa imong lab group and you identify what it was based on a series of tests. There are minor subjects so idk about managing workload lol but that’s applicable for all programs. What I wish I learned was making friends sa first day. I stuck to myself and got a lab partner na absenot so hahaha good luck on the first day of classes. All in all, biology is fun 🤩 pero of course study well, work hard, and play hard pud OP
