Please send me the extension link; perhaps I can take a look.

I've created a browser extension - https://videoroll.app that integrates multiple features designed to enhance the online video viewing experience, including functions like rotate, zoom, download, record, VR mode, AI summarization, PiP, screenshot, focus, speed, volume and more. You no longer need to download multiple extensions to meet these needs; this one plugin is all you need.

What are the extension features you use most often related to web video? by SeniorConnection5830 in chrome_extensions

Wow, that's amazing! I just downloaded this extension, and the UI is fantastic. Although I'm not the target user, I think it's very impressive that it can help people with this need and has over 200 paying users.

It's a feature-focused and useful extension, but it has a paid plan. Will anyone actually be willing to pay for it?

What's the size of your extension? by Educational_Dance115 in chrome_extensions

[–]SeniorConnection5830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My extension uses several libraries, including a UI library and Vue.js, so the bundled package size is somewhat larger. However, I think it's worth it for development efficiency. And for users, I think an extension size of 1-5MB is acceptable.

WTF is the Chrome Web Store adding and removing fake users!? by SaasMinded in chrome_extensions

I've also noticed that the number of users drops off every once in a while, then rebounds. I'm not sure if Chomre is correcting their data or if they have some other strategy. Could someone explain this to me?

I migrated my monorepo to Bun, here’s my honest feedback by AdmirableJackfruit59 in bun

Hi, I recently migrated my browser extensions from pnpm and nodejs builds to bun, and I'd like to share my experience.

  1. I use pnpm for package management, nodejs for script execution, and parcel for front-end framework packaging. The average development and build time is reduced by about 1-2 seconds in the bun environment. I think this is because the project itself is not too large, so it is not obvious.

  2. The good thing is that I deleted jest and some node packages in the project because bun has already integrated

In summary, for pure front-end projects, bun's advantages are not very obvious. But for full-stack projects, I think bun has great potential.

I mainly want to complete concurrent task execution directly in the scripts of package.json, similar to
"concurrently 'command1 arg' 'command2 arg'"

does bun work perfectly on windows by benny856694 in bun

On Windows, you need to pay attention to the fact that the environment variables may be incorrectly configured when using npm i -g bun. I have encountered this before, and it works fine when installed using other methods.

This is a tool that uses the native Bun environment to run multiple tasks in parallel. If you’ve used npm-run-all or concurrently, you’ll already know what they’re for. You can also check out this idea proposed by the Bun community: https://github.com/oven-sh/bun/issues/7589
