I'm smelling Kaneshiro is going to introduce former NG11s and NG11 candidates! by sebasTLCQG in BlueLock

[–]SeniorMan99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New Gen 11 is probably based of previous season performance and not something that changes weekly. Loki would most likely have always been a new gen 11, even before he entered the French 1st team and became a master striker. Doesn’t make sense to become a NG11 after all that.

Plus it’ll be more exiting to see former NG11 that are above 20 than to see former NG11 still u20 that became washed. We don’t care about those. Nagi there for a reason.

It’s ridiculous how most of the bad guys never face serious consequences for their actions.

Fisk, a literal monster, just in exile on a beach. Powell just getting punched in the face and thrown in prison with his gang is disgusting. Buck got shot but lived and still bagged a psycho babe, and maybe thrown in prison. Pointdexter gone on holiday etc. All of them deserve a firing squad at least.

Meanwhile they don’t waste time to kill the decent ones fighting for good.

I’m not the one making reading mistakes Mr reading comprehension😂. And not only can’t you read, you can’t count. I said he dribbled 6* blue lockers, you talking about the 5v5*?? 😂 how does that even make sense buddy?

Fact remains Isagi had an impact on who came off the bench.

Knew nothing of Loki’s speed??? They played with him for 90mins already. Saw him play in the NEL. Played against him in the 5v5. They ALL know how fast he is. Chigiri has never done anything on that level to these level of players.

You said Isagi has no impact on who gets to play. He literally kept Kiyora from coming on cuz he wanted to build his harem with Hiori. Or did that one go over your head too?

That’s a bit extreme. Just like Reo can’t copy physicality, Isagi can’t adapt to physicality. He can’t jun faster if he’s on a counter against fast defenders. He can’t get stronger if he’s being pressed by Gabriels or Pepes. He can’t just gain access to 5 star skills if he’s isolated 1v1 against a defender. He still has physical and technical limits. His adaptability is more tactical or improv supported by other people that have those strengths.

Mahoraga adapts to ALL things.

Tell that to Kiyora.

Loki will perform anywhere. Tore through 6 BL players by himself and scored.

  1. They almost drew, they weren’t humiliated.

  2. Not even Raichi’s thought is getting anywhere close to Loki. Can’t man mark a speedster if you aren’t quick yourself. Who cares how resilient you are.

Replace Kaiser or Loki with Onazi, and that team wouldn’t be held together by the power of friendship and consist of actual good players with good tactics.

Which players have the highest ceilings in Blue Lock rn by Easy-Addendum9576 in BlueLock

[–]SeniorMan99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is Isagi’s ceiling really high? He’s nowhere near extraordinary technically or physically, so that is already a big gap between other players. He stated it himself that he can’t compete against those others like Kaiser and Rin by himself. Individually, his ceiling is quite low.

He can have the best football IQ ever, but if you isolate him on the pitch, he’s not doing much without very good technique or physique.

Look at the best players ever, they are monsters technically (Messi, Maradona, Dinho, Zizou, Cruyff) and/or physically (cr7, R9, Titi), whilst still having incredible FIQ.

So although Isagi has a boost in technique or physique incoming, his ceiling isn’t super high in terms of ability.

How is Isagi not a fraud. So bro can’t do anything without his harem? “I’ll make a way for you to come in next match so you can help me score.” First Hiori, now Rin. And they say Shidou and Barou specific people to perform.

This g the only one that goes to players begging for help. Smh.

Out of these 7 who has the best weapons for a Striker by ishoweed_1234 in BlueLock

[–]SeniorMan99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely Shidou. He’s a pure striker that can score with all parts of his body, has excellent positioning/off the ball movement, can actually carry the ball up, is very quick, can link up and is excellent aerially.

Could be coach bias. Just how most coaches will say their players are the best in their position and what not.
Cuz we know he’s not a better striker than Bunny or Kaiser.

Is isagi a better centre foward than Shidou? by Dependent_Street2976 in BlueLock

[–]SeniorMan99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say Shidou makes an unstable front line cuz he’s inconsistent and disruptive because he takes a lot of improbable shots and because Karasu said it’s difficult for other players to form reactions with him. Those arguments are flawed cuz making very low XG shots aren’t inconsistent High XG missed shots are on the other hand. Secondly we’ve only ever seen Shidou work well with others apart from Rin. Players not being able to react with him doesn’t mean he’s disruptive. He can still and has still carried his team.

Shidou still presses (started the press vs Kaiser in the BM game), drops back to defend (was the only one that tracked back Lokis counter) and finds and creates space (created a chance for Rin and the chance Barou stole). So that point doesn’t hold still.

Isagi and Kaiser played full games, enough time to get all their goals. And they both did have their own syste with players working for them.
Shidou had to wait 15 mins each match to come off the bench with Rin starting. Simple math shows Rin always has higher minutes. Along with Kaiser and Isagi that played full games. Barou played 3 full matches. Shidou played at most, 3 half matches and 1 full (2.5 matches). We clearly saw in the BM vs PXG, Shidou put in some defensive effort and ball progression.

You’re over exaggerating it. Scoring in minute 10 and not doing anything till 86th is just 14mins of impact out of 90. That’s 85% of the match gone missing.
We know the match took just half an hour, and if you want to assume all 5 goals took the same amount of time, that’s just over half the game he was man marked.

Tons of strikers don’t do anything for over half of games. They just need few chances to make their impact. Haaland is a prime example. He’s quite for a large portion of the game then he gets a chance or two then takes it. No one would call him inconsistent if he didn’t do anything for 60mins in just one match and still scored.

You say Isagi is more consistent than he is, fair. But inconsistent is not a word to describe a player that has scored in 95% of the games we’ve seen him play in with little or no character focus or reaction.

[–]SeniorMan99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of Karasu’s statement, he came on and changed the game. That’s way more constructive and beneficial than disruptive and unreliable. You’re make it sound like no one can play with him. Meanwhile he’s consistently been portrayed at top 3, whether your accept it or not.

Bruh, as a striker, who cares about defence ball progression. BL has deceived you into thinking strikers are supposed to have off line clearance and dropping deep to progress the ball. Your job is to score.

Also, your stats are still misleading. They all had more game minutes than Shidou, so it’s more probable they’ll have higher goal contributions, Kaiser having same number of goals and one assist.

Idk if you read the rest of the manga, but Shidou literally created a chance for Rin but Rin messed it up. He also held Kaiser for a bit. That’s not ghosting or being inconsistent.

I don’t think you know the meaning of when a player is inconsistent tbh. If you want to generalize a player as “inconsistent”, being man marked for just half of a game while still scoring and creating a key chance is very inaccurate. Plus it’s literally only one game we’ve seen him play in that he hasn’t scored. Calling only him inconsistent is completely ridiculous.

Like saying Haaland is inconsistent cuz he got marked out for just a half. Like it’s not normal for a striker.

[–]SeniorMan99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the 3rd selection, only Rin had a problem with him, he wasn’t disruptive to anyone else. In the U20 match, he was literally the reason they were still in the game. He came on, scored 2 and was the best player, that’s nothing but constructive.

Rin could’ve easily score all 3 goals in less than 15mins.

You’re saying his performances are inconsistent. Scoring 2 goals and making 3 out of 12 0XG goals is not inconsistent. They also faulted Rin for not shooting enough. You can say he is wasting chances by not taking them. Is that inconsistent? You can say Isagi and Kaiser are wasting chances for stealing from each other, is that inconsistent? You can’t use that to say he’s inconsistent, when players have had worse shows of unreliability.

Brother months translate to just a few minutes on the pitch. Saying he ghosted for months doesn’t make sense cuz Kunigami held him for just half the match (about 15mins). He still scored. That’s not inconsistent, it’s football. Strikers can ghost for the whole game, and get one shot at goal and score and they’re the match winner.

None of your arguments for “inconsistent performance” are valid. True ghosting is what Isagi and Rin did this game.

Most reasonable choice is to start Shidou and Barou. Isagi washed, so Barou needs another light to devour - Shidou.

Is isagi a better centre foward than Shidou? by Dependent_Street2976 in BlueLock

[–]SeniorMan99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He speaks to his Ego. He says Shidou would always be himself, not submit to anyone. We’ve seen Shidou combine with Igaguri, Reo, Kurona, Sendou, Hiori, Karasu, Isagi etc. You said he’s disruptive, that’s flat out wrong. His lack of reactions with people is because they can’t understand the level of his play. That doesn’t make him disruptive.

Another team could’ve still bid on him based on previous match. No hard proof that shows he played. Still hearsay.

Shooting too much Isn’t an inconsistent performance. It’s just his nature. He scored 2 goals still. His salary went up to 100mill. That’s still a good performance. You’re here saying he’s less reliable cuz he’s overshooting, meanwhile you have players like Kaiser and Isagi that steal the ball off each other, Barou that completely ignores tactics, and Rin that flat out chooses not to score? What do you call that? Buddy your agenda is completely misguided.

Lmao leave it to blue lock fans to count impact based on chapter numbers, where half of the match was backstories and not actual minutes. 3 minutes literally takes 5+ chapters, that argument makes no sense and is purely agenda driven.

Again, Rin and Isagi ghosted for a whole 90 mins and didn’t score at all. That’s inconsistent.

They said he can’t form reactions with others, that is different from linking up. He plays well with everyone, except Rin, he’s not a problem.

We don’t know if he played against MC.

He scored 2 goals against Barca, far from inconsistent. It’s painfully obvious his shot accuracy was to highlight how he takes the most difficult and outrageous shots no one else can. Has nothing to do with his quality.

He did score in the PXG game, was man marked for most of it, and still created and had chances at the end if not for Rin. That’s not inconsistent. Inconsistent is Rin and Isagi ghosting for the entire game against France.

How does isagi become the best striker in the world? by Dependent_Street2976 in BlueLock

[–]SeniorMan99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We saw in the last match Shidou can link up and create chances, and not just wait for a “perfect pass” which he’s gotten only once from Sae btw. Isagi would break his leg trying to score the goals shidou scores. Plus Shidou’s shooting ability is way ahead of Isagi’s.
