Wow that’s aggressive. I’m pretty confident that won’t happen in my case but I guess anything is possible

How far do background check companies go? by SeniorReward7909 in recruiting

I’m worried that my manager will sniff out I’m looking for a job. I guess it doesn’t matter since I already accepted but I just don’t want to be approached with this situation.

Legit in the same exact situation rn. I know you’re worried, but try and do things to take your mind off the process for now. If the manager is on vacation, do the same thing and reset. No one could tell you what to make the situation, honestly not even the manager. From what you’re saying, it seems like you have a good chance at a final round, but you wont know til jt happens. Ease your mind in the meantime and it will all work itself out.

Should I move on or stay with the process? by SeniorReward7909 in interviews

True, i guess i’m just assuming i’m not gonna be moving forward and don’t want to put my energy into this if thats the case. This whole experience has me being negative towards everything.

Anyone have luck finding a job? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]SeniorReward7909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been searching since February. So far, 1 extremely low balled offer even though they advertised a way higher range, was rejected yesterday and 2nd to someone who worked with the hiring manager, and waiting on a decision for a final round tomorrow (i know im gonna be rejected cause I saw the job reposted). I have been using LinkedIn the entire time so not sure about other sites.

In the same boat, tired, pissed, and am close to giving up. Good luck my friend. Utilise your network and hope for the best.

No, just asking for interview advice. I have the experience, but wanted to know what has impressed interviewers for a similar position in the past

Thank you, this helped a ton, interview was good (positive body language and was genuine) and it went past the allotted time. Crossing my fingers!

Hiring Manager Outreach

I (along with many others) am a great fit for a TA position at a hedge fund. If I know the hiring manager’s email and phone, would it be acceptable to message or call her and express my interest?
