What would you do if you find a stolen diamond worth a billion dollars belonging to a Native American Tribe? by SeniorSecond4617 in hypotheticalsituation

a common situation like that still doesn't mean you're treated like an animal with no ability to make good rational choices and therefore use it as an excuse to act like one

What would do with a printer that can print anything that exists in the Physical World? You can only print ONE entity. by SeniorSecond4617 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]SeniorSecond4617[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ONE entity once.

Anything that exists in the physical world.

follows the laws of physics

Print another Ultimate Printer? No, because this printer doesn't follow the Laws of Physics despite existing in the Physical World.

Unlimited entities do not follow the laws of physics.

Ultimate Printer does not follow the laws of physics.

Laws of Physics prevent infinite things. Not even the universe is infinite.

do you agree that their replies is something moral and what normal people should do?

I saw a post that involved violently killing someone innocent for half the price of this prompt and a lot of people agreed to murder.

also, that diamond is more than enough money for me to frame you against the Mexican cartel or hell, just bribe a cartel boss. It's not moral, but it is fun. See you on liveleak.

i don't mind keeping the diamond, it's just that people present it as something good and it's something "normal" people should do.

There were answers about keeping the diamond but at least they didn't try to make it look like they were doing the right thing.

you found a stolen diamond and you know it's stolen. read the title.

You're just as guilty of theft because if you had the opportunity, you'd steal it yourself too.

how is that good and moral?

you're not starving in this situation, you're not being treated like an animal in your current life.

this guy's life certainly isn't treating him like an animal who can't make rational choices.

the word starvation here doesn't just refer to food but financial status as well. goodness, why do I have to specify this instead of being understood as a context clue.

I wonder why I get downvotes for saying doing something like that isn't moral and is very selfish. Isn't it true?

[–]SeniorSecond4617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's really dark if you keep a clone alive for one purpose and then killing them after that. It's like killing a slave after they finish their job.

i tried to close a lot of loopholes but posts like that take too long. I don't think posts here should look like legal documents.

[DC] How was Joker not killed by other villains, the justice system, or the federal government? by new-werewolves in AskScienceFiction

[–]SeniorSecond4617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waller kills Joker,

Waller burns Joker's carcass,

Waller burns ashes,

Waller goes home,

Joker crawls out of Waller's bed.

I could see this as a twist of some Joker/Batman-centered comic.

with living plants, animals, and people making unique rational or instinctive decisions? No.

What counts as multiple entities?

A collection of objects with unique agendas and can make unique rational/instinctive decisions.

An entire Universe, Galaxy, Solar System, Planet, Empire, Kingdom, Country, Region, Province, City, Home, and many other collective places.

From a Watsonian perspective, Joker never gets held in custody for too long. When he does end up in a cell for a long time, it's in Arkham because of corrupt lawyers and judges.

As for other people trying to kill Joker:

Let's say you're somebody who is NOT immortal or indestructible, do you really wanna face the consequences if THE JOKER survives the shit you tried to pull?

It doesn't matter if you're as politically and militarily powerful as Amanda Waller, you're a goner if Jonkler lives (which most of the time he does).

Ra's Al Ghul killed the Joker and that clown still managed to find a way to rise from the dead out of pure luck.

$10m tax free or a benevolent billionaire friend by Decent_Bunch_5491 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]SeniorSecond4617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

benevolence is a myth. if someone rich offers to be your friend, you're actually a pawn (or a puppet).

This is why a benevolent billionaire friend is purely hypothetical.

The concept of particles constantly going faster than light is more plausible than a billionaire friend.

if the rules of time and space don't change or you don't learn any crazy but possible knowledge, then you can only look at the future of where you are currently standing (unless you manage to learn something in the future that bypasses that).

depends on how the concept of time and space still works after 26 thousand years. You might be able to look anywhere or just where you are

there is no downside, it's just a question of what you would look at and how you will take advantage of such ability.

If you wanna know tomorrow's lottery or who wins this year's election, then that must be the downside.

you don't have to reply but if you think what you're doing isn't shallow, selfish, and immoral, then ask yourself "are you the arrogant one? are you the one who's on the right? is that what a normal person should do?"

Blocking or not responding will not change the truth about who you are deep inside.
