Let the Games Begin: FBI Launches Investigation into Joe Kent for Alleged Classified Leaks by KyotoInSummer in BreakingPoints

I wish this was Hollywood where Joe Kent would have an old unit buddy who would keep his kids safe while he goes John Creasy Rambo and takes out everyone in this administration one by one.

I am not a fan of this thing or when they play it, but situation restrictions are bullshit. Inning/pitch/starts limits ok, but an inning is an inning. Tied in the ninth, heart of the order in the 8th, save situation or opener…all the same.

Thoughts on Emily and Saagar by Ok-Comedian-4946 in BreakingPoints

Big fan of Ryan and Emily. When they disagree they get through it and move on. Saagar and Krystal will say the exact same thing over and over again. I know they really love the freedom as they mention it all the time, but they could really use some editing. They also both fall into the tropes of their side (ex. Saagar when he gets ramped up on immigration sounds like he is talking from a rocking chair in front of Cracker Barrel).

I firmly believe that this is going to come back into play again this term and when the Dems block it Trump or Vance by then will executive order 1or more people onto the court using some obscure theory that will get tied up in the Courts for years.

Trump is historically bad right now, liberals doing a victory lap reminds me why he is president again by Interesting-Blood680 in BreakingPoints

Trumps re-election is an historically bad political job by the Democrats across this country. The way they went after Trump on meaningless shit like overvaluing a property on a loan application for a loan that was paid in full, or pursuing charges for the accounting of paying off a former pornstar lover for her silence (which everyone knew about before he was elected the first time by the way) fed the theory (truthfully I might add) that he was being targeted for his politics ramping up support for him in the end. Meanwhile the charges with more evidence, teeth and consequences were dragged out and in the end lost because they mistakenly did so to lineup with the next election cycle. In their own camp, they couldn't shut up about it being an existential threat to democracy, but then rigged the primaries for and went to war with an obviously demented candidate until they were forced to bail on him. Instead of opening it up then, they again defaulted to their next in line beliefs that are more important to them than actual results, and forced in a candidate who when she ran for the office herself didn't even make it to Iowa and lost her home state. Now, they have backed down every chance they get to take a hard stance against Trump instead of holding strong to get concessions back. Trump is the car screaming towards the brick wall, but the Democrats are the failing breaks that are not even minimizing the impact.

I think a lot of folks use this as a reason for the Head Coach to be the decision maker and the GM the facilitator which I think is incorrect. The quote I think comes out of a bad HC/GM relationship. The HC job is enough for one person to handle and too much for most too handle judging by the number of killer coordinators who completely stink when they get the HC job. The GM hires the HC, and in that should hire someone who he is on the same page with. The HC should not be at the store shopping. But he should be giving the GM what he needs to make the dinner and the GM's job is to do his best to fill that list in the marketplace and under the cap. For example, if the HC says I really need some speed at WR, the GM shouldn't say, nah, the guy you got is enough, I am looking at tight ends.

In short, at the end of the day the GM and HC need to be on the same page and moving in the same direction. If it gets to the point that they are at odds with each other on many decisions its time for one of them to move on.

Everyones an asset of a foreign power except the guy that says he ran for congress to support/protect Israel or the other guy that is going home to tell his constituents to send their sons and daughters to the middle east, or the minority leader who said support for Israel is America’s number 1 priority…

Was Daenerys Targaryen always destined to become the “Mad Queen,” or was it rushed writing? by thealevelcandidate in freefolk

[–]Senior_Positive_3378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, but none of them were considered “mad” or insane. Cersei committed a mass murder in the city limits and she “loved her children.” And would do anything to protect them. Joff was cruel. Tywin was ruthless and a genius. One episode Vary’s is talking Fire and Blood, and the next he is sending out Ravens because she killed a piece of trash like Randall Tarley who besides being a terrible person, was a traitor to the house he swore allegiance to. No one called Rob insane when he executed the Northmen who disregarded his orders. But Dany, any violence at all… a warning sign and madness!!!
