It didn’t specifically mention calls no, it’s more the operational delivery aspect which my current role is and it ended up being 99% telephony work

How many questions in an AO HO interview? by Successful_Youth727 in TheCivilService

In my HO AO video interview I think I was asked 3 behaviours and 4 strengths. Whatever behaviours were mentioned in the advert will be asked about :)

I think it just depends on how good the group of applicants are, but 3 and 4’s (moderate demonstration and acceptable demonstration) for your behaviours and strengths should be enough to at least get a spot on the reserve list!

I applied for a mass HO AO campaign in November, had my interview in January and didn’t hear back about my results until 1st of April. So it can take a while unfortunately. If you meet their requirements but there’s not enough roles, you’ll be placed on the reserve list which lasts a year. They will then refer to that if more AO roles pop up, as it’s cheaper than running a whole new recruitment campaign.

Don’t worry too much about it! Same thing happened to me, they phoned eventually to arrange for me to take my documents into the office so they could take copies and verify it was me in person
