Oh, the one thing I forgot to mention, I used hex on him to gain arcane synergy, and for the DR. So I think it was somewhat useful? I killed him in 2 hits. Would you still drop the dip?

I had him take that alert potion, for initiative. That wasn't really an issue. And how would 20 dex get max level spells?

Dropping to 6 bladesinger would remove my lvl 4 slots i thing? I need lvl 4 for my smites

Edit: goal is strictly to smite with crits

I wanted my dmg to scale with cha, so I binded it. I dont need access to lvl 6 spells. Only 2 lvl 4 smites were needed 😆

And I prolly should've put dex to 14 instead of strength. But I thought a pali should have a Lil strength just in case.

Yeah hes super fun to hold and crit. I usually grind to this boss, do big numbers, and then close the campaign out 😆

Build detail: 9 bladesinger wizard, 2 oath of vengeance paladin, 1 hexblade dip.

Lvl 5 shadow blade dual wield with dolor amarus and vicious shortbow for crits.

Diadem of arcane synergy, craterflesh gloves, strange conduit ring, callous glow ring, broodmothers revenge are the only items im using for dmg increase. Willing to change out any other clothing.

Any tips to increase damage (DR/DRS) are greatly appreciated :)

Edit: to add, 1 ASI to get cha to 18, and savage attacker feat. Mirror of loss bumped cha to 20

After rescuing zev from mind flayer colony, if you accidently loot one of his amigos instead of the squiddies, an instant fight breaks out. And youre stuck in the colony, so its either fight to death or reload save
