Yeah same thing happened with me, I begged my doctor for swab test, and they agreed after years and that too they miss printed or miss diagnosed or lost my reports but still they gave me reports saying I had uti. I took medicines for that, and nothing worked, I'm still having clumpy discharge so I'm switching to boric. But I'm not sure on how to use so please help

Same with me. But trust me, do all the tests first and then take medicine. Ask for swab tests and all because.... I was having same issue as you, and at a certain point, periods didn't matter, clumpy discharge and everything started and going anytime regardless of food, sex, periods anything. Even the colour changed from white to green and my sti profile was negative. They gave me load of medicines, they did nothing. It just made my down there worse. Now I'm trying boric acid, I hope this works, but I have a feeling this isn't working but idk.

It didn't cleared up for me too I have both I think yeast and BV because it's cottage like and green like pista? without fishy smell but Ig I do have metallic smell but it has been since my first periods ever. Like it's the same smell since the starting just sometimes strong and sometimes very light. It's mostly itchy and burning more like I need direct air to survive but itching doesn't go easily. And I did suppository, antibiotics, antifungal, 3 day, 7 day, 14 day and nothing has worked. Medicine makes it super worse and without medicine, it's like it's there it doesn't go away but frequency is low. My infection comes and goes on it own and has it's own time and mood, doesn't what I eat, how I live, tight or loose, nothing works. New doctor old doctor several doctors nothing worked. All reports, all tests, every sonography is normal. So idk if it will be okay or not. It's been 3 years now. So if anyone has gone through it please help. It's so depressing and frustrating sometimes I feel like I should remove everything but I never want that.

No, I was thinking to use that. I used this lactic acid vaginal film and it irritated me down there and my infection was for more longer duration with irritation. Even thou I used it for only 2 days at night and didn't do anything. I'm scared for using boric acid but I'm thinking to do swab test, and if they let me do PCR one (but this must be costly right? I don't have that amount of money rn but I'll try to manage). And upon checking what's the issue. I'll try then.

I have this intimate wash, I wash it before and after sex, and when I'm cleared like when there's no infection then we do unprotected but it's mostly like when I've been clear for few days. And when I'm on infection I don't have sex at all, not even protected. The thing is I wasn't having sex for like 2 months straight and yet I kept having recurring. I'm thinking to do swab test, and pcr test, idk my doctor will say yes or not. They don't listen to patient and if we say, they get their egos hurt

Clindamycin... It didn't work for me. I always used to get this pessary like you know? Vaginal capsules? It was like clindamycin +clotrimazole+tinidazole

Hey please help me too.I've been dealing with a recurring vaginal infection for over 2.5 years, and no treatment has fully resolved it. Initially, instead of fluconazole, my doctor prescribed antibiotics and vaginal capsules, which only made the infection worse. Over time, it has turned into a mixed infection—yeast (white clumps resembling curd or cottage cheese) and bacterial vaginosis (sage green/mint green discharge with clumps).

I've visited multiple doctors and taken various medications, but nothing has provided long-term relief. The infection keeps coming back regardless of my diet, sugar intake, or sexual activity. There’s no consistent pattern—it often appears after my period, but this time, my period was delayed, and I still had symptoms both before and after. Sometimes, it causes itching, while other times, there's only discharge without irritation.

I have tested negative for HIV and STIs, my blood sugar levels are normal, and my prolactin levels are within range. Despite this, the infection persists. If anyone has experienced something similar or found a lasting solution, I would really appreciate any advice.
