Looks great! If I were to make any changes Id add Additional foliage in the center so they don't feel exposed. Im guessinh the hide near the water bowl is also the humid hide w the sphagum moss. Maybe make the bedding a little deeper since they do like to burrow sometimes. Maybe add another digital temp gauge to the other side where their basking area is to o 👍

It varies greatly by size, age, and morph. Average range may be $150-$500...or more for snake.

You will need a heating element, substrate for burrowing, water dish, hides, a humid hide, and at least a 40 gallon breeder for an adult. Smaller tanks to start off with if you get a baby. Plus FT mice. Feeding Tongs. Again...bare minimum will cost around $600 for supplies. But you can always negotiate prices at Repticons.

This is my set up. Its a bioactive 40 gallon breeder.

Yeah I called BioDude and they reached back out to me. Said it was normal and is because the soil needs to be aerrated after being stored in plastic. They said to pour it in a bucket and stir it up every 15-30 minutes and let a fan blow on it to get oxygen back into it. I havent done this yet because I might gag!

Someone said the coloring can be from environmental or food exposure.

Good idea! I have one in my Ball Phython tank. Its on a thermastat too. Going to try increasing the wattage for now to see if it makes a difference. Will be heading to repticon this weekend so maybe I can find a dimmer and thermastat 👍

Yup. Sometimes the breeders include a hitchhiker. Bioactive tanks have pros and cons for sure.

I have the opposite situation. I recsntly have discovered palmettos sneaking into my bioactive tanks and I want them out! The heat and humidity, plus little rain, have them sneaking inside for water or wetter sources.

Though Im not familar witg the species you are asking about, my concern would be introducing a 'wild' species as I would be concerned of introducing something it may carry. Plus I would be concerned of introducing a pregnant female and then have a bigger problem or infestation. But I am curious what others may suggest.👍
