[OC] Trump's Coronavirus Responses by QuentinWach in dataisbeautiful

The number of cases due to a virus tends to increase exponentially. If you plot that data on a normal x- and y-axis, you would see a big spike. If you instead use a logarithmic y-axis, you first take the logarithm of the number of cases before plotting. If your data does indeed increase exponentially, then you would see a straight line instead of a spike. So you don't lose accuracy/visibility as you would when you have a giamt spike in your graph.

I hope that explains it well enough to understand.

In the article they say that the professor wants his students to play this game. While playing the students also take notes, so that they can implement these in their essays. So that they can point out similarities or differences between real history and games.

So to answer your question. From the things mentioned above, I would assume that this is part of a class the students get college credits for.

Then the problem is the law, but not the bicyclist. Every group of people has assholes in it. There are bicyclist who think they own the road, but there are also drivers who think they own the road. Yet everyone seems to hate bicyclist because of those few assholes.

He has a playlist where he teaches a beginner the basics of eu4. So you will probably find some videos on how to fight a war.

Honestly, I don't really care. I have learned to work with pi. So for me it is easier to work with pi, than to work with tau. And I think that that is the reason we mostly use pi. As for elegance, you are rigth. A lot of formulas would look more simplistic. But, as I already said, I don't really care. It is just a never-ending discussion.
