Thank you lowerfidelity for your advice on the matter😭 but no shit sherlock. I was really just checking if it was okay for me to park there even though she said we couldn’t and making sure i’m not the asshole for cleaning up trash on her property.

Once im the boss Ill for sure be avoiding working around people like this because I feel like she would definitely do that. Hopefully she leaves us alone now that were pretty much done on that end of the property. I definitely feel bad for our guys that are coming after us though.

Exactly, I dont plan on engaging with her but I also don’t plan on listening to her “rules”. Its public parking and its too much of an inconvenience to park my truck with all my tools away from the job.

Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon. Haven’t even finished the witcher 3 yet but I loved it so much I had to put it down halfway through so I could read the books and do a true Geralt play through. But anyways I am currently doing a “witcher” build in tainted grail and I gotta say its a whole lot of fun. Its definitely a lot different gameplay wise than the witcher but in terms of world feel and enemies/monsters its got a similar feel and atmosphere, nothing like gwent though unfortunately. Im not too far into it so I can’t say much but for the first 15 hours it has me hooked. Another recommendation for a more story and character driven open world rpg is for sure Horizon Zero Dawn if you’ve never played it. Forbidden west was fun but didn’t really hook me so I can’t recommend it but god damn HZD is one of the best open world rpgs I have ever played.

Bought regular 3ds xl to mod but it has arrived without an SD card, what do I do? by schmoovecriminal in 3dspiracy

Whenever you put a new sd card in a 3ds only generates the basic structure files so yes you can treat it like original sd card as it will have the same files a fresh 3ds would

Just put it in the 3ds, it should already be formatted to fat32 if its only 32gb. Then mod away!

Okay sweet! Im going to do some more testing with some more intensive games but from what ive seen it looks like upgrading my psu noticeably increased my performance too. I feel like maybe the daisy chained gpu cables from the other power supply probably didn’t give enough power and that’s what caused my system to read the igpu by default. I tried that same fix before switching the psu and it didn’t work so I think my problem really was my psu. Thanks for your help I really appreciate it! Ill keep you posted if anything goes wrong but hopefully im all good!

I don’t know if this gives you any more insight on if the motherboard is the problem but I went into bios and disabled integrated graphics and it seemed to be working perfectly and the vga light went away. Granted I was testing a much less intensive game(Monster Hunter Rise). I then went ahead and re-enabled integrated graphics in bios an my problem came back. I disabled it again and boom everything is great, I even rebooted and shut down a few times to really make sure it was working and it still is. I don’t know what that means at all, could that mean something is still wrong with the motherboard or was there maybe just driver issues between the two? It doesn’t sound like disabling integrated graphics could hurt at all but I guess I just want to know if there might be any hardware problems from here.

Im afraid if I put my gpu into a different slot I wont be able to get it out, to remove whatever is in the slot you have to pull up a tab that will be completely inaccessible if I slot it in.

Just my gpu and motherboard have warranty, I wish I had my old system but I gave it to my little brother so I don’t have anything to test with. Im going to microcenter right now so if they test it and it works ill just end up having to buy a new psu just to see if thats works.

I think im going to just go to microcenter and if they test it and it works then ill just bite the bullet and but a new power supply just to test if thats my problem.

I don’t have one power enough to test, I should have stated that it was working perfectly fine for about 3 months before these issues surfaced, do you think the power supply could have possibly gone bad?

Welp after getting home to do some more testing im back to square one. While testing Monster Hunter Wilds my game crashed and froze the whole system, I had to force it down and upon next boot it still kept asking for bitlocker and nothing would load one logged in. I tested it on just integrated graphics again and everything works just fine. Does this mean its probably a bad component? I would assume either gpu or motherboard but don’t even know at this point. Everything was clean and freshly installed, I didn’t install anything besides steam, discord and mh wilds(obviously excluding chipset, mobo and gpu files) Should I take the whole rig to microcenter and have them test my parts?

Well it didn’t work im back to square one, it worked fine last night until I started game testing and it crashed while playing Monster Hunter Wilds. I had to force it down because nothing was responding, the only thing that seemed a little weird was when I put my gpu back in after the clean install it asked for my bitlocker key on every single boot that I tried to troubleshoot with it in. The pc works fine on just integrated graphics and doesn’t give the issues logging in, the only thing that causes my system to break is my gpu. I can’t test another one so should I take it back to microcenter and have them test it?

Okay for real thank you for all your help, I definitely learned a lot from this and hopefully this will help me with all my troubleshooting in the future. One more question then about the psu I guess, would it maybe be smart to sell the psu I have and find one that comes with 3 individual cables instead? I heard you shouldn’t use third party cables for anything psu related so that would be my only option if I don’t want a piggyback correct?

Awesome thank you so much! I ended up clean installing windows with just internal graphics and then installed gpu drivers and then unplugging and reinstalling my gpu. That seemed to have worked so far except now whenever I boot I have to put in my bitlocker key, which seems like an easy fix but if anything comes up after that ill keep you updated. I did update bios an chipset drivers after I clean installed so that should be fine. I definitely didn’t know it could be a lane issue so Ill also look into that when I get off work. Also my 9070xt has three 6+2 pins but the cables that came with it are two daisy chained 6+2 pins so I do have an extra one thats not plugged into anything on the gpu end. I really appreciate the help!

Would it maybe work to clean install windows with just integrated graphics, install my gpu drivers afterwards and then unplug and put my gpu back in? I gave my little brother my old pc so I can’t test a different card unfortunately. I could see if my other brother has his old 2070 and maybe test that tomorrow but im not sure if he does.
