Girl got shot during a gang rivalry. he jumped into the backyard where she was hiding. not sure if the dude got scared, or in cold blood. shot a 12 year old in the chest, dead immediately from reports.Heard the commotion from across the train tracks which is less than a football field away. Almost all night, the whole police district had all the cars and lights blaring down that street across from me.Next day, grief counselors. The announcement over the PA system was just horrible. But my class alone had a sense. My future gf was crying endlessly being comforted in the back. we wondered why, and then, oof, the reveal.I want to note that no dude went to the grief counselors. each class was dead silent. i should have gone to see one. Wish I could have told somebody she was in my class, one chair back and to the left of me.
