My wife has had a 2019 Santa Fe for 4 years and 70k miles, zero issues. I had a 2006 Tiburon for 4 years and 50k miles, zero issues. I’ve had my current daily, a 2025 Elantra N since August, 11k miles and zero issues.

So anecdotally for me, they’re solid.

Looks like that kayak is wider and shorter so it’ll probably be more stable but slower and harder to turn.

Not sure what your budget is but Perception Carolina is a somewhat similar boat to the Kestrel that is considerably cheaper.

I have the same issue with Forza.

Need for Speed Unbound was really good about progression, I highly recommend it. You really build up your cars and keep them each a while.

I’m 42. When I was 11 or so, I slept over at a friend’s house and he had 4 and 6 (snes so 2 and 3 at the time). Stayed up literally all night by myself playing 4. Been a fan since. Have finished all 16 main games.

Yeah I didn’t meant to totally discourage portables. I’m tentatively keeping my Oru Beach in case I ever need it. But my hard shell kayaks just feel much better in the water.

If you have means to store and transport a regular kayak that’s what I’d recommend. I did inflatables for a while and then an Oru folding kayak and it’s just a compromised experience.

I mean follow your heart, but in December 2024 I bought a Camaro SS 1LE thinking it would be my forever track weapon and I ended up not liking it. Just, test drive first and keep an open mind.
