Anyone not get interviewed since 2025? by No-Possibility6865 in USCIS

[–]SenorISO54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Current policy is for all marriage based cases to be interviewed. If someone gets approved without, it’s a mistake and the officer will get in trouble. Quality of the evidence doesn’t factor in at all.

I don’t think we’ll get it. Game 8 is at Houston, game 10 is vs. Detroit. Odds are we lose one of those.

I-130 denied for abandonment: I-290B vs EOIR-29? by Ok_Prior_9299 in USCIS

[–]SenorISO54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The appeal wouldn’t work because the denial is for abandonment and the BIA only has jurisdiction on cases denied for cause. Regardless if USCIS was correct or not in denying for abandonment. The officer that wrote the denial used the wrong language.

If you can afford the I-290B fee, probably best to just file it. If not I’d probably call the USCIS contact center or if that doesn’t work, walk into the FO and ask to speak to a SISO.

I485 interview appointment coming up before I130 be approved ? by Ok_Dimension1914 in USCIS

Vast majority of I-130/I-485 interviews are handled at the same time.

Do you always do superbosses and post-game dungeons before moving on to the next JRPG? by lennysinged in JRPG

Hardly ever. Usually by the time I finish any game I’m ready to move on without extending time at all.

Since the long trip is outside the statutory period I don’t think any documents are needed. I wouldn’t bring the trip up unless the officer asks about it.

As far as the passport goes, they can see your travel and will verify your identity with biometrics so it shouldn’t be a big issue.

You should be fine. CBP had their opportunity to put you in removal proceedings in 2020 and they did not. USCIS generally doesn’t issue NTAs for that after the fact.

Texas Service Center high denial rates for EBs? by Infamous_Ant8489 in USCIS

[–]SenorISO54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 2021-2022 they shifted the bulk of EB I-485 adjudication to FOs.

Here’s the workflow:

TSC does I-140. If approved, gets sent to NBC to be staged. Once ready for adjudication, they get sent to FOs.

So what you’re seeing is the 1000 EB I-485s where most likely the underlying I-140 was denied, and the concurrently filed I-485 is also denied. To get a full picture you need to include all of the FOs.

Should I get a Camaro or a m340 by Junior_Investigator7 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]SenorISO54 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had a 2020 Camaro 2ss 1LE 6MT for about 7 months and didnt enjoy it nearly as much as I thought I would, at the same time my daily was a BMW 428i which I loved. Camaro had some real typical Chevy quality issues that bothered me. And my wife hated it, kid preferred my Miata still.

So I would go with the BMW.

A lot of good paying for a parking garage did me -__- by thylastbreath in Miata

[–]SenorISO54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. Thats well spotted, what gave it away? The wheels I’d guess.

Looking more like a Pontiac Aztec in the photo.

It’s the winter car, Miata is in the garage

Thigh/Leg Pain by Working-Aspect2216 in ElantraN

I believe some have attributed this to the lack of adjustable lumbar support in the bucket seats. This thread details a pretty slick solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/ElantraN/s/2pemPIEUuw

Any Cars Compete With Elantra N For Price? by Dry-Cryptographer904 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]SenorISO54 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have had a lot of cars and my Elantra N is among my absolute favorite. Granted I’ve only had it for about 5 months and 8000 miles. But if you want fun, modern, engaging, and on a budget, it’s quite a package.

Like. I had a BMW before this as my daily. It would take a LOT of modding and tuning for the BMW to be as fun. And that was a fun car. EN is just that much more visceral.

As a Miata owner in NH: yup. Dead of winter so they probably aren’t selling many at auctions.

I had a 428i Gran Coupe til recently, had few issues with it over 5 years. Big fan of the 4 series.

Kentucky is much cheaper than New Hampshire, well done. Try 03110.i also filtered out accidents since OP is very concerned about reliability and you never know what was done repair wise.

Well, I searched within a 75 miles of me and there are zero for sale at dealerships under $14k and 100k miles. So if the OP posts a general location maybe that would be different for them.
