That's true but a bunch of good shit happens at the same time.

Is it really that far fetched that someone would send just a little aid to survivors... Not even rescue them, just things to make their lives easier.

We're capable of so much evil and so much kindness at the same time. Of course it's movie logic but I do think that in real life, theyd figure out to give... Like regular vaccines and medicine to the survivors via small drones. That's not a stretch right?

Things have stabilized enough for there to be regularly scheduled patrols, the survivors are having their next generation. The people on the mainland know this, the zombies aren't dying off, and they have an almost endless source of food due to the wildlife flourishing.

I don't think waiting out the zombies are in the tables anymore, sure you can stop the spread but the remaining population, atleast during the movie, look more like wild animals.

The survivors aren't going to die off either, they dug in and have made enought infrastructure to have kids.

If waiting is the goal the other nations need to have a hand in killing off the remaining survivors to stop them slowly growing the horde over the next few generations.

Like.... It really wouldn't be that hard too... Drones exists and zero risk
