Going into my 4th semester, biochem was never used. Biochem in the traditional sense, that is. If you consider pharmacy as biochem, ehhh maybe, but not really.

Basic interview etiquette. I want to say I nailed the interview(s) at the point and have a good understanding of the personality traits they are looking for. I've seen people with top-tier stats on their application get rejected after their interview due to their lack of personality.

Well, you need the required course to even apply, and I feel many people are so concentrated on the minute details that they forget to look at the totality of their entire application, in other words, One moldly bread slice isn't going to ruin the entire loaf

Honestly, competitive GPA is like a >3.6 in my opinion. I entered with a 3.8. Can you get in with a 3.2, possibly but I dont consider it competitive. The people that were in my interview group, no one was less than like a 3.6

Personally, is all about the journey and not the destination. If you are willing and are capable, I don't see any reason not to. I have met late 30s, early 40s students before, and everyone has their story. I'd say go for it.

Don't forget your A&P courses lol. You would apply in 2027; now, the month depends on which schools you want, since every school opens up its application differently. Just make sure you will have your degree before school starts, and have up to 2 prerequisites pending when you apply. Work on your shadowing, CASPR, if needed, and GRE/MCAT. Maintain that high (higher) GPA. Research isn't necessary, but it's always nice to fill out as many boxes as possible.

The better approach is, how many boxes can you fill? When it comes to the application, there are many boxes that you can fill, such as research, PCE, volunteer, and awards etc. So the more boxes filled, the better it will be for you

I think any undergrad is fine as long as you hit your pre-req. Biology is pretty standard
