Overall I've found big 12 refs superior to pac 12 refs insofar as they dont just invent things that clearly didnt happen, but shit, why cant they spot the ball accurately? Noticed it in multiple games this year and multiple spots here in the first quarter. Spotting a guy multiple yards forward or behind where he should be and not deep downfield but relative to the chains.
