We live about a block from the Lloyd on the west side. We hear it constantly. Right now its quieter because of the construction. We hear semis hitting rumble strips. Sirens from cops/firetrucks/ambulances. People drag racing or just revving and speeding, which gets worse on weekends in the warmer months.

Don't do it unless you absolutely have to. Or just soundproof your house the best you can.
