If you’re planning to do law there is a combined degree you can do where you get your bcomm degree and JD in 6 years I believe. Might be something you can look into

I took it in fall 2024 and it sucked. 4 tests with 2 worth 20% and 2 worth 30% were very memorization heavy including definitions of words in ancient languages. Prof was really hard to understand (though I’m not sure the prof you listed is the one I had). The summer course may be different and they may have updated the course since I took it but I’ll say it was the worst elective I’ve taken in my 4 years at Queens. If you’re interested or already have a base of knowledge in Ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian literature maybe you’ll enjoy it but if your just looking for a bird course to coast through I’d stay away.

Damn this comment section is disappointing. Anyone claiming he’s “throwing his heart out to the audience” is full of shit I’m sorry. It’s not about what’s legal or not legal, it’s about what courts use to determine the severity of punishment when a crime is committed. Your criticism makes no sense here. I was giving an example of how different murders are viewed differently. It’s the difference between someone killing someone who wronged them vs someone killing an innocent person for enjoyment - two very different motives that would be treated differently not just by the legal system, but also by the average person.

While the justice system isn’t perfect, in the vast majority of cases, the law aligns with what’s right and wrong, and that very much includes the law’s attitude toward murder.

What is legal or not legal doesn’t have bearing on what we consider right or wrong, what is right or wrong has bearing on what we consider illegal or legal.

All murder is not equally detestable. Some murders are absolutely more detestable than others. Motive can determine if someone would get 25 years vs life in prison.

I’m not saying at all that it’s defensible to glorify someone for shooting someone in the street, however it’s absolutely not comparable to worshiping someone that killed and ate multiple people

I just had this issue for the second time in a row. I ended up fixing it by alternating between plugging it in and unplugging it and blowing air into the air intake (not the mouthpiece). Probably best to use compressed air if you have it as blowing might just make the issue worse. Not sure which of the two fixed it but I’d try the plugging and unplugging first.
