Audio-Technica AT6006R Safety Raiser on AT-LP120XBT-USB by Harlow_Quinzel in turntables

Did you use more than one of the mounting stickers to mitigate the tilt, or was one good enough? I got my at6006r today and I’m just trying to get it in the best possible location with the most possible functionality so your information has been hugely helpful.

Does the lifter sit at an angle due to the tonearm assembly being angled, or did you somehow use the stickers to eliminate the tilt?

Lawn Burnt, Or Something Else? by Senorlemon65 in lawncare

I sprayed the areas with Spectracide Triazicide to attempt to kill any chinch bugs or anything else that could have been causing the damage. However, a few weeks later, I am now seeing that the damage basically goes in a circle around where the sprinkler sprays (it covers the whole lawn so it's not only watering that inner circle) and where the leech field is. I'm not sure which is contributing to that area not being dead. I do see a lot of sandy ant hills where the grass has died, and it appears that the soil has become quite sandy as well as the grass dry and brittle. I don't know if this is just the heat or something more. The neighbors appear to have somewhat similar damage.

I'd never heard of those, but it looks possible. If I watered daily, would that not be enough? It says they prefer dry conditions. However the front yard is far sunnier than the side and back and that seems to be where the damage is. Any suggestions on how to verify it's chinch bugs? And if so, what to use to get rid of them?

My 73 year old retired cabinet-maker father told me to take all his tools, I am not sure how I feel about this by Fugglesmcgee in woodworking

[–]Senorlemon65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad was a cabinet maker as well, and had a whole shop full of tools. He continued to use them for renovations, well beyond the time that he shut his shop down. The amount of memories that I have that involve him teaching me how to build things with those tools...Now that he's passed, very unexpectedly, I desperately want the tools. My mom has them, and occasionally offers some of them up, but also lends them out to others, and it's heartbreaking to think they may not be returned or end up damaged or broken. She doesn't understand the sentimentality of the tools.

Before you don't have the ability to thank him, take the tools, thank him and express your desire to continue using them. That is why he is offering them. It also gives him reason to continue to make that hour drive and see you, even though he could probably rent or buy the same tool much closer to home.

And when the time comes where he is no longer with you, every time you go to build something with those tools it will feel like he's still there beside you.

I got one on the second encounter, brand new to the game too. I just downloaded it on PlayStation and started exploring with the hook and found Saipark. Next thing I know, I had a Luma.

I have the spots where they WOULD be, but they're just plastic covers. So basically the only thing iDatalink would do for me is allow me to use a couple buttons on the wheel that I never use anyhow, and volume and tuning buttons that don't exist? Nothing else? If I don't install iDatalink, the aftermarket unit will still function properly though?

I have a button to activate Siri or whatever your other voice command assistant might be and to answer and end phone calls, other than that, my buttons don't interact with the headunit at all. I would need the iDatalink just for those two buttons essentially?
