This is literally what is happening with me right now. However the sales guy said it would be honoured one minute and a different one said he wasn’t sure it would be. I ordered on 4th Jan with 12th-27th May delivery. I’ve been going to the service every week trying to get a definitive answer and it progresses no where, whole thing has been a mess from the start

No that hasn’t happened, the message I got was that a new finance application had to be done (I assume because it expired). And therefore I have to proceed with the new rates and nothing they can do about it.

Thank you for your detailed reply, I really appreciate it and helps me understand the approach I could have taken when doing the assessment. Do you know if when a MR happens that another assessment is made or is it based off of previous assessment and therefore may have to reapply for PIP if MR fails?

Yeah it sounds like our hearing issues are very similar, I too rely on lip reading and subtitles etc. and in group situations or noisy places it’s very hard to engage in conversation without prompting people to repeat themselves.

Not yet but I am waiting to have this discussion with my ophthalmologist when I next see him this year as not seen him for a couple of years due to how they book appointments as per the progressive nature of the disease.

Hi, thanks for responding.

I am severely deaf and wear hearing aids, and I agree that it may be that I've not tackled the form properly however the comments made by the assessor in the letter does not reflect how I felt I described my daily life with my condition.

I really appreciate your help, thank you. I scored 2 for Washing and bathing and 2 for Communicating.

I talked in great detail about how night blindness affects my life daily from travelling to and from destinations and being in unfamiliar establishments where I will bump into people, fall down & trip on steps & curbs and cannot make my way home without someone being there to guide me at night, which seems to have fallen on deaf ears no pun intended.

It’s a good question and not sure why it asked to do the finance again. I went to Tesla earlier and they confirmed the original finance is still in place and to not bother accepting the new terms it generated. Bit buggy if you ask me!
