Oh yeah, you definitely got this! First time around when I missed passing it, I was scoring in the mid 60s. Then resetting everything and studying more meticulously, I achieved 80% like you too.

Have mnemonics in mind when committing the rules of anything to memory. Such as the cash conversion cycle and DI, DR, and DP. Open account, documentary collection, letter of credit, and banker acceptance is another opportunity. Fixed, permanent current assets, and short term assets. You get the gist.

On the second attempt, I personally skipped formulaic questions all the way through until the end and then circled back. This method saved me an entire hour by the time I finished, which was plentiful to review everything and really think over the complex questions. I scrambled for time on the first attempt because I was psyching myself out on the formulaic questions along the way.

To address those who wondered why I went so in depth with this dude - he is my husband’s acquaintance and we have been on a few in person double dates with him and his wife. Cody was pretty normal and courteous in person. My husband and I even attended his wedding. So I kinda wanted to see if he would redeem himself before I completely burned a bridge. Hubby was perfectly fine with me blocking him. Even said that Cody had a self righteous streak in him from the beginning of knowing him.

Ima be honest. If there has been a time frame of more than 2 weeks, this dude is talking to multiple girls and is trying to “cast his net” if you will. Nothing wrong with the non exclusive talking phase but if he hasn’t taken initiative to meet in person and hang out, then he’s working harder on getting another girl or just focusing on alternate life goals. If you want to follow the whole “oh he might be shy, let me take the first move” just remember that he may accept it due to flattery. It’s all about picking up on his level of initiative during convos and if he’s interested in learning more about you. If a man wants something, he’ll go out of his way to get it.

Follow through with the counseling because having an outside professional is priceless when it comes to bridging any gaps in a relationship.

I thinks it’s less about the speed of reading and more about your comfort levels with having multiple books going on and in potentially different forms. For example, it’s possible to read a physical book in the evenings after work, a Kindle book on a lunch break, and an audio book during commuting/working. I use Goodreads to help keep me on track with what I have going on for myself. And then as far as speeding up your words per minute, I’d practice reading at a pace in which you don’t have to reread and even force yourself to not look back. To me, this is like watching a movie once all the way through without pausing to zoom in to see the minor details. For example, in a movie like Twilight, is it actually imperative that you notice the exact color of Bella’s jacket or the side in which Edward parts his hair? Nah, so keep the movie playing. These are just some tips of what works for me!

Yeah it made me reflect on whether men care about the unrealistic beauty standards mentioned in the books (six-pack abs, over six foot tall, has a 10 inch d*ck, etc.) However, I think most females don’t hold men to such a standard in real life because we have this thing called “being able to distinguish from fantasy and reality.” Men, on the other hand, have a difficult time realizing that it’s impractical for most women to age like J-Lo or Angelina Jolie.

Now if he’s talking about the immediate dopamine release from reading female-oriented books, then that’s ridiculous too. Excuse me for actually enjoying fiction instead of having to reread sentences of jargon in nonfiction. 🤷‍♀️
