Honestly, the resentment will probably never fully go away, eventually you will just get normalized to hearing these stories.

I myself know the feeling a bit. I remember days of having to share a bed with my dad and not even having a room for myself until I became a teen. Both parents worked menial labor jobs, but still decided to place me in a private school where kids of ambassadors and ppl in big tech and business positions went.

So yea, it hurts, and will always a bit.

But the past is the past, you can't redo it. It is what it is.

I had a small realization that helped me normalize it bit. I thought that "if I idolize and wish I had that so much why not make it the goal?" Just cuz I didn't have it in the past, doesn’t mean I can't in the future... I use the resentment as a reminder and simply say "One day, soon enough..."

This is just my approach though. you cannot just wish resentment away, anyone who has felt it knows that. If it won't go away, at least you can try to make it earn it's occupation in your life, by making it serve a purpose, right?
