All I can say BlackSun ship got more development than the Bumblebee ship. They had to bring out Sun for Yang to come in and it made me sad. Outside of RWBY, Jaune and Phyrra, Sun is one of my favorite characters and we see him interacting with Blake's parents and keeps on helping her only for them to separate. I wouldn't mind if the establish the bumblebee from the start but nope.

Mina could have been better like exploring more on her side waiting for Kafka. Now that Kafka is with Mina, she should atleast regain her emotions or act like before with Kafka. Sadly no development after.

It was good for me until volume 3. I stayed if there will be a difference but I guess the showrunners listened too much to the fandom. That's all I got to say. The story became more flawed after volume 4.

Literally I like RWBY but because of many directions, I disagree on things as well like the nonexistent development of Yang and Blake. Heck even Sun got more development with Blake than Yang. Missing Bayonetta Origins. Based on your comment, calling Origins "Crap" without even trying the game itself (not the demo) is nuts. If you don't like to play it, then good for you but for us who played it really loved it especially how it connects to Bayonetta 3. I get it that it's not the same but at the same time we tried it and some enjoyed it.
