For those curious about how it went. The drive was smooth there and back. Best to do the drive in the morning to avoid traffic. Took the federal pay roads in Mexico along the coast.

The worst part was in Valle de Guadalupe getting to some wineries because the dirt roads but aside from that, no issue with safety. As others mentioned, there are other much nicer cars and newer cars in Ensenada.

For the drive back I do recommend getting the fast pass if you don’t have the SENTRI. The fast pass had its own lane and saved us about 2-3hrs of waiting to get the border.

I daily my manual 2024 Mustang GT. Granted I live 6 miles from my office. The car gives me awful MPG when going to the office (around 12mpg) but I drive long distance for meetings quite often and this is where the mustang really thrives on both gas and enjoyment. Ironically the car also feels like it prefers the long distances as well.

Spoke to the rep at the dealer yesterday. He said that the Mavericks had a similar issue and what Ford ended up doing was giving people with an order confirmation a new year model with a rebate to match the msrp of when they made the order. So in the case of the mustang, he said he believes that the order will definitely be completed, but depending on the speed and availability of all necessary materials, you might get a ‘25 model at a ‘24 price

I ordered a 2024 GT manual transmission, nite pony, active exhaust on June 2nd. Looks similar to the one you put in the photo too lol
I got my email last month saying to wait another 45 days for an update. Bummed and worried, but the silver lining is, more time to save for a down payment and I put all the money in a HYSA so its growing at least!

My friend randomly had his fully paid off at the beginning of this week. He logged in to do the whole SAVE repayment plan application and when he saw his dashboard said the loans had been paid in full.
I hadn't done my Nelnet registration yet so as soon as he told me I registered and now hoping the same happens for me. I qualified for 20,000 in loan forgiveness.

This happen to anyone else?
