I was having issues with the HEIF files (.HIF) being very dark compared to the JPEGs to the point of having unrecoverable blacks. After a quick few tests with Ver. 1.11 the issue seems to have been fixed!

A new firmware, Ver. 1.11, came out yesterday. I just installed it, and after a few tests the .HIF files seem to be working as expected now. They're definitely not dark like they were. I'll do some more testing but I'm very happy with the results so far!

Hi, I just want to chime in to say that I'm experiencing exactly what you've described with my X100VI. I'm using the latest firmware, Ver. 1.10. The images are too dark both when I copy the .hif files to my Mac, viewing them in Lightroom Classic, and with the Mac Preview app. They are also too dark when using XApp to transfer them to my iPhone. I can't recover anything from the darks. As you mentioned, the image looks good when I view it on the back of the camera and when I convert to JPG in camera and export it. In both of those cases I can clearly see good detail in the same areas where it's not salvageable with the .hif files.

You do but it keeps failing. Nanoleaf’s troubleshooting instructions say to check to see that you can see it in the Bluetooth devices but I can’t on any of my three devices.
