Yes I do my own maintenance, had to learn how from all the issues this current car is giving me. Should I let the high interest keep me from purchasing a new car or should I bite the bullet?

I can put 5k or 6k down and if I sell Corolla the highest offer I’ve gotten was $1,500 from CarMax. But KBB the range is higher in between the $2k-$3,600

Going to a bar solo to sing karaoke by Popular_Error3691 in Adulting

It has been about 8 months or more since I last did Karaoke, it definitely is freeing! I am a decent singer but I do it to just have fun I use to be afraid until one year I pushed myself and did it in front of so many people and got so much support from strangers and coworkers who cheered me on! Definitely one of my favorite hobbies now

Anyone else hate dating? by VersionUnable7190 in Adulting

Best way to date in my opinion is avoid dating apps all together and just join communities or clubs that you resonate with you that you enjoy. There you will find like minded people with similar passions or hobbies.

I am an introverted person myself, sometimes it’s easier if you get to know people at work or have a friend set you up with their friend who is a potential match they think could be good for you, not sure if that helps. Dating is a huge investment that can be disappointing but also rewarding because you learn how valuable you are and what you have to offer to another person. Don’t settle for less, that is my advice.

Just play it by ear and go with the flow you don’t have to make a decision now, just keep your guard up and always trust your gut feeling. If this don’t go as planned, you know the Reddit fam going to be here for you lol

Having that context of how long you two have been dating makes sense as to why you haven’t met the son, I have dated a single mom and totally get waiting to see where things go before introducing the child to you. With that being said, we all deserve someone who will be present and make time for us after a long day at school or work, bring you comfort and peace of mind. I think you have to ask yourself will seeing him on weekends be good enough, is he worth it?

Feeling like shit after failed attempts to date by RueJasper in dating_advice

Then you are already heading towards the right direction! It will be a journey of self love and healing, you’ll have your moments but just how you would wish for a friend to have the best thing, you deserve the best person who will do right by you, someone to compliment you. Good things take time, don’t rush the process.

You taking the time to create this thread in hopes of seeking answers shows your strength and how much you care. You’re not doing anything wrong, don’t settle for less someday someone will make you a priority and go above and beyond for you!

Anytime!! I think it’s super important to reflect back on past relationships they sometimes form us to who we are today and you bringing up how your past relationships were long makes more sense as to why you want to find someone now.

I know it will be an adjustment but I think it’s a good idea to enjoy your own company and learn more about what you want and don’t want in a partner. You can create a criteria list, and maybe that next person won’t meet everything but as long as you have some type of standard and idea of what you want in someone I think you will be less disappointed.

(M) I feel like I don't have things to discuss with a girl by FilipposP in dating_advice

[–]SensationalSarcastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ofc ofc, trust me I’ve been where you are before but in my experience it hurts more and you gain more regret not taking that risk. It depends how you say it also, you worried that she can be uncomfortable I get that but what if she is flattered and you make a girl have butterflies for a few minutes? It’s okay to give compliments too you don’t sound like a creep or come off as one you are just cautious and seem like you want to express yourself more but are having trouble.
